Always Fundraising
As a way to raise funds for the Homebuilders’ Care program the Central Nova local holds various fundraisers, such as its annual auction and other events like 50/50 draws at monthly meetings and the House & Hammer Curling Bonspiel.

Edgar Veinotte Scholarship
For more than 15 years the Central Nova local has donated money to the Edgar Veinotte Scholarship Fund. Currently, this money is raised through the Central Nova Auction. This scholarship of $2000 is given annually to the dependant of a member for their first year of community college or university.



Central Nova Home Builders’ Care Auction was a Huge Success!

The Central Nova local of the Nova Scotia Home Builders’ Association would like to thank everyone who participated, donated and bid on items at the annual Central Nova Auction which took place at the Westin Hotel on May 11th

$85,000 was raised for the Home Builders Care Program.

A special thank you to the ‘Top three bidders’ for the evening: Robert Kraitzek, Picket Fence Homes; Steve Bartlett, KelGreg Homes; and Scott Smith, Rooftight Construction.              

Scott Smith, Rooftight Construction was the successful bidder of the Homebuilders Care Bear, winning the bidding war at $5,000.
